I am very much into the sanctity and development of one's mind. I also value and relish being in a naturalistic environment. Because of these interests, I feel an innate bond between the two. Both are quite simplistic in nature, yet immensly complex upon further investigation. There are no real answers as to how either of them work, and man has never been able fully comprehend their full capabilities. Man is continually trying to modify and exploit these precious resources for personal gain, yet truly achieves nothing. These images are my link between the two....my depiction of their interlaced complexity, simplicity, and dual reliance upon each other. One cannot survive without the other, in as much as any of these images on their own cannot be fully understood without the rest.
