Artist's Statement —
In constructing a story, the four basic elements of plot are introduction, conflict, climax, and resolution. In introduction, characters are presented to the reader. In conflict, the problems facing the characters are revealed. Events progress to a climax, followed by some sort of resolution. The best stories include sub-plots and weave together many story threads to make a compelling whole.
